The BM0489 Table Bench is a reinterpretation of the original design in which rattan is replaced with double plane-weave paper cord for a fresh, organic look.

Carl Hansen & Søn has more than 70 years of experience at working with paper cord, and it takes an experienced craftsman six hours to weave the 335 metres of cord to produce a finished piece of furniture. The new interpretation of Børge Mogensen’s Table Bench creates an elegant interplay between two organic materials – the beautifully rounded oak and tightly woven paper cord. BM0489 comes in a long version, BM0489L, and a short version, BM0489S.

Made to order in Denmark. Lead time 20-24 weeks

Model: BM0489L Table Bench

Designer: Børge Mogensen

Materials:

Frame: Oak oil

Seat: Woven paper cord

Dimensions: L 138 cm x W 46 cm x H 34.5 cm

Origin: Made in Denmark
