Vilhelm Lauritzen

One of Denmark's most important Midcentury architects and designers, Vilhelm Lauritzen (1894-1984) had a great passion for studying butterflies. While the organic featured in several of his designs, first and foremost he emphasised function, simplicity and the ethos that architecture should be applied art for everyone – not just for the privileged few.
