Andreas Hansen, born 1936, trained as a cabinetmaker in 1957. In 1962 he graduated from the Furniture School of Craftsmen and has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts and at Denmark's Design School. Since 1963, he has had his own design studio with furniture design mainly for Danish companies. Andreas Hansen has won many prizes for his design.
