Model AV 53 was designed by the renowned Danish furniture architect Arne Vodder in 1953. The beautiful architecture makes the furniture timeless, with a firm and flexible design form. The seating comfort is exceptional with armrests and a medium high backrest which together provide a remarkably good sitting position.
Made in Denmark, all stitching is done by hand on powerful furniture sewing machines by experienced seamstresses, so we are sure that all stitching has the finish, durability and precision that creates quality furniture from Nielaus.
