The RO dining chair GM 3706 is designed by Hans Sandgren Jakobsen. The chair is part of the RO series, where chair and table are created with the same sense of proportion, materials and visual calm. The chair is available upholstered in leather and fabric in a range of different qualities.
The seat is circular and compact, with a softly upholstered, domed surface that gently invites you to sit down. The backrest has a visually simple and elegant form – a curved volume, almost like an open embrace, with rounded ends that provide comfortable arm support and give the chair character when viewed from both the front and the side.
The frame is a solid wooden cross base that contrasts with the soft, upholstered surfaces. The slightly tapered legs are positioned at a subtle angle, giving the chair a stable yet light appearance. The frame is designed with great attention to both form and construction, with every detail carefully considered and beautifully integrated into the design.
The chair has an organic design language, with a focus on comfort, a sense of presence and visual calm.
