Designed by Morten Gøttler in 1997 the MG501 Cuba Chair takes foldable extra seating to a new level. The original indoor version features a solid oak frame with seat and back made from a basket weave of cotton straps or from woven paper cord. Curves gentle follow the contours of the body while the chair has all the elegance of a sculpture with its natural materials and evident craftsmanship. The chair is a perfect fit for smaller environments with no need to store the chair when not in use as it remains a work of beauty folded and left leaning against a wall.
