Designed by Morten Gøttler in 1997, the MG501 Cuba Chair is a sculptural, foldable lounge chair. Reimagined for outdoor use in untreated teak with a tight, weather-resistant flat-woven rope seat, the Cuba Chair Outdoor brings a sculptural, contemporary aesthetic to gardens, balconies, and terraces.
The MG501 Cuba Chair by Morten Gøttler takes extra seating to a new level. It features a solid oak frame, with the cotton girths around the frame forming a comfortable seat and back and providing excellent support as they gently follow the body’s contours. The chair has all the elegance of a sculpture with its natural materials, clean cotton webbing and evident craftsmanship.
The MG501 Cuba Chair thus captures all Gøttler is known for – his clean, easy aesthetic and well-thought-out form, as well as his designs offering exquisite comfort, and close attention to detail – all created using high-quality materials.
