The MH SLING UPDATE is a light and elegant series of lounge seating with beautiful stitching details and characterised by its distinctive 'sling' plinth base in handcrafted timber. Created in collaboration with designer Tom Stepp, the original MH SLING, still in production, was updated in 2021 to further emphasise its sense of lightness and ease in the room.
The Sling Update also features an optional 'short' seat depth, providing even greater scope for personalised comfort and support. All this while retaining the craftsmanship and technical skill that makes Mogens Hansen furniture so highly regarded and tightly held.
Based in Aarhus, Denmark, Mogens Hansen will only start producing your sofa once you and your consultant have put together the specifications for a piece of furniture that perfectly fits your lifestyle. Special requests for size, height, legs, upholstery, stitching, cushion filling are welcome.
